Tour of UCH Wetland Restoration, Plant Identification andIntroduced Species Removal Monday, September 28 th, 4:30-6:00pm, United Church of Hinesburg Please join LCA for a brief tour of the newly restored wetland and help protect itfrom nearby invasives on Monday, September 28th at 4:30 PM. We will tour the restored wetland with Jessica Louisos, WaterResources Engineer at SLR Consulting, and LCA staff. We will then identifynative and introduced plant species with LCA's Andrea Morgante, and remove thephragmites that threatens to invade the wetland. There will be the opportunity to learn the phragmites spadingtechnique and help us remove this introduced species. We will have a few spadeson hand, but please bring if you have them: flat-edged spades (not pointedshovels), loppers/shears, and gardening or utility gloves.
